Alice is a kind, optimistic vampire, who tends to do what she wants rather than what other's think is best. She adores her family members and their friends. She can be very serious when it's necessary, and is willing to put aside her kind nature if the people that she cares about are in danger.

Background(In 100 words or more):
Mary Alice Brandon was born in  Biloxi, Mississippi in 1901 to a jeweler and his wife. She had a younger sister called Cynthia Brandon (who later went on to have a daughter). She was prone to visions of the future, even as a human child and she was often warning members of the community that she lived in of ill fates that awaited them.

Soon enough, her mother was murdered, and her father and his new wife plotted to have Alice herself murdered also. Instead, however they were able to get her locked in an asylum where she (unknowingly) met a vampire. This was the vampire who turned her in 1920 at the age of 19, when a vampire tracker called James fell upon Alice and wanted to pursue to kill her.

Alice’s creator died to protect her from James, and she went on into her vampire life with no recollection of any event that occurred during her human one due to the cruel therapy that she experience in the asylum. The first vision that she had as a vampire, which had become much clearer and easier to control was of a handsome Southern man, Jasper Whitlock.

She waited for him day after day in a diner, as that was the place she had seen him in the vision. When he finally arrived, they pair acquainted themselves with each other and went on the meet up with the Cullens, adopting a ‘vegetarian’ diet and get married to one another.
